Tugs at play

The Port of Bristol tugs Svitzer Brunel and Svitzer Bristol

came out to greet the Svizter Bay.
The Svitzer Brunel then used its fire fighting
jets to great effect.
Soaking both the other tugs.

I think Valentines day has come early. He He.

Show off.
What a great sight.

Flood debris by the ton

The following photos show how much debris has
been washed into the Bristol Channel / Severn Estuary.
Mainly trees, branches, grass and twigs. But we could also a lot of man made
rubbish including around twenty plastic bottles.
Luckily none of it caused us any real problems.

Biggest fish this year

Yep here it is!
The biggest fish any of my family have caught this year.
Nice little Codling, it gave a good rattle.
At this rate I might just get one big enough
to eat by December.
After its photo was taken it was released
and swam off happily.

On the way back from fishing, this smart French PC-12 F-HANN
was on apron 1.
