Snuff Mill fishing

Tried a couple of hours down by the Frome again
Tried a spot up stream to the usual
and blanked.
This used to be a really good spot
but there is nothing there now.
Caught this 1/2ld roach from the chub peg

Filton Abbey Wood this afternoon

An hour and a half down by track produced
this Freightliner Class 66 66554
on a track laying machine.

Closs up of 66554

This is the other end of the weird contraption.
Portbury Dock to Abbathaw Power Station
coal train hauled by DB Shenker
class 66 66007.
The Nuclear Flask train I went down to photo
had passed by around 7 minutes before I got there.
It was reported 110 minutes early.

Fishing down on the River Frome

This lovely Chub was one of four fish I caught.
This swim was not very productive.
It shows what the venue is like.
