Out and about

This Reed Bunting
singing away in the sun,
is my first one of the year.

had real trouble flying
in the strong gusty wind
on 17-03-17
at Patchway station.
 Pilning wetlands had
plenty of water birds
but the only decent
photo was of this
Goldfinch.

Owls are so soft.

Yesterday I visited my Mum
for her 84 birthday.
My brother brought up 3 owls
A Barn Owl called
Lilo.
 The smallest 
a Little Owl
called
Gem
 and this monster.
A Eurasian Eagle Owl
called
 Oscar.

Garden visitor 03-05-16

This Wood Pigeon
visited our back Garden
this afternoon
to hoover up the seed that the Sparrows
dropped while feeding.
