Fishing again

Fished Near New Passage close to the Second Severn Crossing.

Fished from 08.00 till 12.00 and only caught this one Snotty.

Saved the dreaded blank.

Rusty my eldest son caught this Conger Eel.

Italian Air Force

This Italian Air Force C-130H J arrived

and parked on apron 3.

Just before 11.30 it taxied out to runway 27,
then lined up and departed at 11.30 as Indian 2182.
Apron 1 had PA-32 G-BHGO.

Rockingham again

Out fishing again,

The wind was quite strong and made bite detection

very hard.

High tide was at 17-43 and the tide was 11.9 mtrs.

Baits were Squid Mackeral and rag worm.

I manged 3 Snotties (Silver Eels)

An other escape chit!

What a great evenings fishing.

High tide at 18.58, 11.4mtrs so easy time.

Five eels caught, 2 x Silver Eels (Below).

3 x Conger Eels (Below)

All released and swam away.

The photo below shows the ground over which I

was fishing.
Should be a good spot for Codling in the winter

With the hills of south Wales as a back drop and the two

Severn Crossing on either side a very nice spot all round.

Oh dear beaten again! Yep my youngest son caught this

small Whiting. The only fish caught by 4 anglers and eight rods?

With a 13mtr tide extreame care must be taken

as the tide comes up over the the grass bank.

Wellington Boots are a must.
The drop off of the bank is 20mtrs in front of my son

in the photo below.
