A walk around Eastville Park.

Popped down to Eastville Park
this afternoon.
Among the usual birds
I saw an Otter hunting and
managed this photo of the Otter
with what looked like a Bream
in its mouth.
This is the first photo
and time I have
seen a wild  Otter.

Also seen was this very blue
Kingfisher.
 A feeding
Greater Spotted Kingfisher
 Grumpy Heron
 and
two
Lesser Black Backed Gulls
among others.

Cottage, Portishead. 06-12-17

With only a couple of hours spare,
a box of Squid
and a 13.7m tide,
I chose to fish this
Portishead
spot.
I haven't fish here for a long time.
It has about 40 meters of rough ground
then a patch of sand / mud
Then there is a big drop off.
You need to cast on to
the sand area
to hope you get your rigs back.
 Well,
I didn't get a bite.
Whole Squid was used on 4/0 Pulley Rigs.
 High water was at 08.40,
I fished from 06.30 till 10.15.
When the tide turns
the lines started getting snagged
but luckily I managed
to get them back.
So another blank.
But it was enjoyable as usual.
