B-757 and winglets.

Air Astana B-757 P4-EAS being pushed out of
Air Livery after its repaint.
This is the first B-757 with winglets to visit Filton.

First Point Ladye Bay

Wow! What great weather for February.
Yep this is the way down.
A bit of climbing and very slippery so take care.

Clevedon Pier in the distance and Ladye Bay its self to the left.My usual spot at 2nd point the Ledges.

Flat calm (You can't get a flatter mirror) He! He!

Catch of the day 1 X HUNGRY CRAB.

Tugs at play

The Port of Bristol tugs Svitzer Brunel and Svitzer Bristol

came out to greet the Svizter Bay.
The Svitzer Brunel then used its fire fighting
jets to great effect.
Soaking both the other tugs.

I think Valentines day has come early. He He.

Show off.
What a great sight.

Flood debris by the ton

The following photos show how much debris has
been washed into the Bristol Channel / Severn Estuary.
Mainly trees, branches, grass and twigs. But we could also a lot of man made
rubbish including around twenty plastic bottles.
Luckily none of it caused us any real problems.

Biggest fish this year

Yep here it is!
The biggest fish any of my family have caught this year.
Nice little Codling, it gave a good rattle.
At this rate I might just get one big enough
to eat by December.
After its photo was taken it was released
and swam off happily.

On the way back from fishing, this smart French PC-12 F-HANN
was on apron 1.

had to miss that one.

Train comeing

Train stops plane.
Coal train on the freight only line from Avonmouth,
passing in front of recently arrived B-747.

Monday 9 February 2009

Full of a cold.

Oh dear, guess it would not belong
before I caught the dreaded lurgy.
Never mind planing a trip to the Yacht Club
for a sea fishing trip on thursday.
Kill or cure??!!

Yet more snow

Down it came again and more than last time.
Puddles enjoyed it greatly and the snow was up to his belly.
What he didn't like was the snow collecting like
golf balls around his legs and belly.
But 5 minutes with the hair dryer and
he was as right as rain.

The Dower house stuck out like a soar thumb.
The brown streakes say it all,
people of all ages enjoying them selfs.

Shame this wasn't Christmas.

The river Frome at Snuff Mills was perfect for fishing.

Thursday 5 February 2009

More snow

A bit more snow this morning and Puddles
was happy to run around.
He did tire out after 1/2 hour of running around.
He is 11 years old.
My youngest son decided to build a snow man.
He's 21.
Every thing is white.

Our little dog and the snow

This is "Puddles" our dog,
he loves snow.

He really likes the snow

Even likes to eat it

This is the Telecom tower on Purdown
above the M32 motorway.
Where are the Toboggens and sledges.
This is the Dower House also above the M32.

Premiair in, Sun Country out.

Another day another early arrival.
This Premiair A-320 OY-VKM in My Travel colours
arrived at 07.50. Lucky the west had not been hit by the snow else where.
Taking the micky a bit I think.
Ex Eazy Jet B-737 G-EZJJ was rolled out of Air Livery
in SUN COUNTRY colour scheme.
Some ones got a sence of humour!
However the British weather had the last laugh
as this 737 was due to fly to Stansted in Essex,
but Stansted was closed because of snow.
So its was parked up waiting for better weather

Sunday 1 February 2009
