Very wintery down by the river

Went down to fish the River Frome at the Snuff Mill
It was very pretty down there, ice on the river as well as
the snow on the ground.
The fishing was a bit disappointing,
but it was a wonderfully peaceful time.

I do like these King Airs

White but not snow!?

With the temperature well below freezing
the water droplets were frozen
and froze onto anything it touched.

Here the light breeze was from the right and the twig
was only around 1cm in diameter.

This twig was sheltered from the wind

so it formed on top of the twig.

Even the grass was covered with the ice droplets.
This is Duchess lake all frozen over.

Every thing was white.
