Fished on the Ledges at Ladye Bay

Boy was cold, foggy and a cold easterly wind

made it very cold at times.

The tide was at 11.44 and 9.4mtrs.

Fished from 07.45 till 13.30.

Baits used Mackeral, Squid, Sandeel,

Ragworm and Lugworm.

Look at the size of this King Ragworm

its longer than the fish I caught.

8 Codling and three Whiting were caught.

How many fish are there in the Ledges rook pool.

2 Codling and 2 Whiting

I used the 3 hook wonder again, which caught
the 3 Whiting and 4 Codling.
The 3/0 Pennell Pulley rig caught the other Codling.

This Codling has tied its self up in the rig.

Fished at my favourite big tide mark,

Yacht Club Portishead.
The tide was a huge 14mtrs at 08.38.
fished from 06.30 till 10.30.
I caught 10 Codling and 1 whiting.
The whiting was attacked by something bigger.

I caught them in 1s, 2s and 3s.

Baits used were Rag worm, Lug worm, Mackeral and Squid.

My son did not have any luck as he blanked. Ouch.

From Italy to Iceland

Having arrived at 07.05 this A-330 I-EEZA

of Eurofly as EEZ8004.

Outside waiting for its departure time was

Iceland Express B-737 G-STRF.

In a bad postion.

Diverting in from Gloucester

This BAe 125 CS-DNL diverted in

from Gloucester.

On apron 3 was A-321 G-OZBT waiting its departure

time to Manchester.

It left 2 minutes early wow!

Biz jet on 3

Long shot and poor light caused this poor shot.

Being towed to the runway was

A-330 EI-CRK in Vladivostok Avia colours.

I do like this colour scheme.

Ships that pass by in the day.

Whilst out fishing I took these photos of

some of the traffic to and from Portbury and Avonmouth docks.
